JUMANJI: A Movie With A Profound Insight

When Dr. Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson) calls Moose Finbar (Kevin Hart) aside, he tells him that he can no longer do this, “I am not actually brave” he says. “But I just saw you hanging on a helicopter” Moose replies. “It’s a lot easy when you have lives to spare,” continues Dr. Bravestone, “it’s a lot harder when you only have one life.”

“We always have one life man,” says Moose, “it’s all we get, that is how it works. The question is how are you going to live it….”

I was really touched by these words because unlike the game they were into where they all had 3 lives at the start, the world is pragmatically different. We only have one life and it is left for us to discover who we are and what we will use our life for.

One of my previous posts which is titled Purpose talks more about this, and subsequent posts like Frustration and Success talk about how a purpose can be achieved.

JUMANJI is a movie that is very different from others, it is extremely funny with great characters. It has great scenes too, but the greatest scene is the one with a profound insight.
